In our latest show, FRAGMENTS - echoes of a father, we are joined by poet Maureen Ghazal to take a journey through a man's life—from youthful dreams to old age, marked by war, exile, and the longing for home.
We combine polyphonic singing with the spoken word, connecting memories with the present. Ukrainian, Palestinian, Russian, Hebrew, Icelandic, and Hawaiian songs are interspersed with classical works, gospel, and pop. Each song carries a fragment of a larger story. Maureen Ghazal's poetry brings an empathetic layer to the story - a story of displacement, uprooting, and the search for connection in a world torn apart.
